Biography Dr. Pei-Tseng Kung is a professor at the Department of Healthcare Administration in Asia University. She earned her doctoral degree from the Department of Biostatistics, School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, Tulane University in 2000. Dr. Kung has extensive experience in data analysis, and her main research areas include cancer treatments and survival, health policy and evaluation, disabled people and health disparity, utilization and economic evaluation, and epidemiology. She is a Member of the University Assembly and Internal Control Audit Committee Member in Asia University. She also serves as a consultant of the Department of Medical Research at China Medical University Hospital and a Member of the Board of Directors at Yu-Shan Healthcare Administration Association. Dr. Kung has rich experience teaching biostatistics and applied statistics courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. She has earned many honors from Asia University in university-level Outstanding Teaching Awards, Outstanding Research Awards, High Impact Publication Awards, and university-level Outstanding Mentor Awards.
